Sales Progressor – Estate Agency

Location: Arnold, Nottingham

Salary: Basic Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 / OTE of £35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

The Company

A leading independent agent is looking for a motivated Sales Progressor to support the office in all aspects of the property journey. Primarily focused on the after-sale agreed portion, this role will provide invaluable support in various areas of the agency, ensuring that sales are handled efficiently and successfully from offer acceptance through to completion.

The Role

As a Sales Progressor, you will play a critical role in managing the sale process and ensuring a smooth journey for both buyers and sellers. Your responsibilities will focus on maintaining quality control, securing the best buyer for our clients, and managing the sales process from offer to exchange. You will work closely with the manager to assess buyers' credibility, assist with legal and mortgage processes, and ensure the efficient progression of sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control & Best Buyer

• Work with the office manager to assess the credibility of buyers through financial and proceedability checks before agreeing to proceed with an offer
• Ensure that all mortgage and conveyancing services offered by the company are fully explained to clients, including the features and benefits
• Focus on minimising fall-throughs by ensuring the best buyer is selected and the process is properly managed
• Measured by the fall-through rate and focus on increasing the exchange potential
• Monitor the progress of sales and assist where necessary to ensure smooth communication between parties
• Provide regular updates and necessary information to help bring the transaction to fruition
• Communicate with all parties involved in the transaction, including legal representatives, banks, and other relevant professionals
• Keep electronic records of all activities related to the sale process

General Sales Negotiator Support

• Provide support for general office sales negotiator tasks, covering lunch breaks and holiday cover as required
• Assist in any other tasks related to sales and property management, ensuring the smooth running of the office

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in property sales, ideally within an estate agency
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of the local property market is beneficial
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and external partners
• Confident in managing complex transactions and solving issues that arise during the sales process
