Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire

Basic Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 Dependent on experience

OTE: £40,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 6:00pm - 1 in 3 Saturdays

Holiday: 4 weeks plus - Additional time off over Christmas and New Year

Car: Car allowance or potentially a company car for the right person

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator or Lettings Manager to take the reins of a highly successful lettings operation in Rushden.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, market leading independent agency that has built a very strong reputation locally and is now looking for someone to take the business forward.

And there is a big plus.

You won't be spending your days buried in property management.

The property management side of the business is handled by a separate team in another office, meaning your focus is very much on the front end of Lettings, winning instructions, generating business, valuing properties, negotiating deals and delivering great service to landlords and tenants.

What you'll be doing

You'll take responsibility for the day to day running and growth of the Rushden lettings operation, including:

• Winning new landlord instructions and growing the lettings portfolio

• Carrying out market appraisals and valuations

• Managing and developing landlord relationships

• Negotiating offers and progressing lets through to completion

• Maximising rental opportunities and reducing void periods

• Generating new business and identifying opportunities in the local market

• Leading and supporting a part time member of the lettings team

• Providing an excellent level of service to landlords, tenants and applicants

• Helping maintain and build on the company's position as market leader for lettings in Rushden

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who knows Lettings, understands the local market and enjoys the commercial and people side of the business.

You could already be a Lettings Manager, A.B.M, Senior Lettings Negotiator or experienced Lettings Valuer who is ready to step up.

More important than your exact job title is your ability to:

• Win new business

• Build strong landlord relationships

• Know your local lettings market

• Negotiate confidently

• Work independently and take ownership

• Lead by example

• Deliver results without losing the personal touch
